Dennis “D.C.” Cronin

Just two generations after Dennis’ Irish-Canadian and Italian grandparents immigrated to the United States, Dennis founded The Law Office of D.C. Cronin based upon values of hard work, perseverance, and persistence on behalf of those who struggle to access justice.

Throughout his life, Dennis has experienced how cultural and language differences can enrich and affect others. Raised in a working class neighborhood, Dennis’ parents instilled a work ethic to realize the dream their parents and grandparents crossed the seas to fulfill. Dennis’ older brother is a renowned transplant surgeon, his younger sister is a registered nurse.

Dennis’ passion for equal justice is demonstrated by his comprehensive study of the law and his determination to have the law applied fairly to all, regardless of resources.

Believing his responsibility is to lead by example, DC formerly served the community as volunteer general counsel for the Spokane Chapter of the NAACP and for Spokane’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Outreach Center, member of the Board of Directors of the Spokane American Civil Liberties Union, the Washington State Bar Association Sentencing Committee, and served the citizens of Spokane as the Chair of the City of Spokane Human Rights Commission from 2008 until 2010.

Today, Dennis’ leadership roles  include the Spokane County Bar Association Family Law Section Chair,  WSBA Family Law Executive Committee Member, WSBA LGBT Section Executive Committee Trustee, Northwest Mediation Center Executive Board Member, Association of Family and Conciliation Courts Washington Chapter Board of Directors Member.  In addition, Dennis is consistently recognized for his pro bono work seeking justice for vulnerable and disenfranchised people.
